What is SEED?

KKTM SEEDS, an organization formed by old students of GOVT KKTM College right from the first batch

of 1965 till 2019.

S - Stands For Skill

Quality of education is more important than just facilitating the syllabus, information & materials and it must also focus on an integral component called Employability. The first letter of the name SEEDS implies Skills. We are planning to incorporate a dedicated platform for vocational training into the existing system of schooling. If the students are academically excellent, they can go back to colleges for further studies, otherwise they can divert themselves into a useful trade in a society that is clamoring for the skills and opportunities. 1.63 Lakh students enrolled in government schools of Kerala in the year 2019 who are aspirant to a bright future.

During the phase of action, our team will recognize a bunch of students who are ambitious and talented in various fields viz. Sports, Arts, Science, Teaching, Research, etc. The students who struggle to meet their livelihood due to circumstances, are filtered from the above pool. We back them up with adequate financial support, technical & vocational training programs, and career guidance during their education thereby ensure that they become successful in accomplishing their goals by finding a promising career wherein they can explore their knowledge & expertise.

E - Stands For Environment

The second letter E in SEEDS stands for Environment, the most prominent and inevitable element of our planet. Trees, Mountains, Forests, Fresh Water, Sea, Ecosystem, etc. are the inseparable and unique fortunes of Earth. Human beings are indebted to nature for our inhabitation. But, since last few decades, the most painful era in history is being witnessed by each one of us that leads to a catastrophe ! Our children cannot enjoy the cherishing greeneries and blossoming fragrances that spread across the golden memories in the childhood of all previous generations. Human beings are destroying the innate nature and ensuring the miserable death of every living creature. The motto of SEEDS is to step forward within our limits to find out all possible solutions that can bring in the Green Revolution to our small society.

Various programs like Educating the students & citizens by conducting awareness camps and programs, Planting as many plants as possible, Promoting the nurturing activities that protect the nature, Water Conservation, Anti Pollution measures, etc. are planned. Effective Agricultural practices and promotions will be conveyed through various campaigns & other methods to make our future generations aware of its relevance as well as the alarming dangers in abstaining such essential practices.

E - Stands For Education

It is quite indispensable to inculcate the habit of quality education among all phases of human community. But the facts and statistical reports show that there are many families who are handicapped in facilitating professional & academic training programs and education to their beloved children. Here comes the important role of our Third goal, i.e., E for Education.

SEEDS will be an umbrella for those who seek genuine shelter for providing quality education to their kids. We assure our support to the most deserving students throughout studies in fulfilling their dreams. This foundation will devise certain plans & proposals that can materialize a phenomenal change in their future.

D - Stands For Development

The Fourth letter D stands for Development. This consists of various activities focusing on Healthcare, Fight against plastic pollution, Charity & Support for the poor and unattended factions of society, etc.

Several programs are in the proposals of our foundation that can bridge the gap between the normal standard of living and these isolated community’s inadequacies.
